The House has updated electrical, safety systems, and conveniences such as WiFi, room-by-room heating controls, and built-in USB power outlets. The house boasts 7 fully renovated and modernized bedrooms with 6 en-suite bathrooms along with a fully restored Drawing Room, Kitchen, large Formal Dining Room, Media Room, and Games Room/Bar. Two televisions with cable and Netflix.

Check-in is at 4pm.

Check-out is at 10am.

We will work with you whenever possible. If there are not any guests staying immediately before or after your visit we should be able to accommodate your request

The Cliffs of Moher are located in the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland. They are located roughly 90 minutes from Ballyglunin Park.

The Wild Atlantic Way is 2750 km in length, it begins in Co. Donegal and goes along the western coast down   through the counties Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick and Kerry, finishing in County Cork. Click here to see a map.

Yes, although it’s recommended to drive small stretches at a time because the entire length is 2750km. It is also recommended to drive South to North so you will be on the ocean side of the road as you drive. 

Ballyglunin Park is conveniently located just 25 minutes from Galway City, a perfect starting point to head north along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Although the peak months of tourism are July and August, Ireland is breathtaking all times of the year. Spring flowers are at their best in April and May while festivals are popular in July & August. During the fall the air is crisp and the weather is perfect for morning strolls.

There are no hard and fast rules about tipping in Ireland. Most restaurants add a Service Charge or factor in a decent wage for employees but if you are unsure a 10-15% tip can be paid. Although tipping at restaurants may be somewhat accepted (especially in tourist destinations), tipping at pubs is not done at all.

Yes, a valid US and Canadian driver’s licenses can be used to drive in Ireland.

In Ireland we drive on the left side of the road.

  • Besides driving on the left side of the road, manual transmission vehicles are standard in Ireland, so if you are unable to drive stick please research beforehand that your rental is automatic. 
  • The left lane is the slow lane, and the right lane is the fast lane.
  • Be prepared to use roundabouts, they are often employed at exits on the highways instead of stop lights.

Throughout the year temperatures range from 5°C (40°F) to 15°C (59°F).

We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage. Availability varies by season.
